General meet
The All Meghalaya Ad hoc Lower Primary School Association will organise a general meeting on October 22 at Riatsamthiah Community Hall, Shillong at 11 am to discuss issues related to the welfare of LP school teachers in the State.
The general meeting of Lyngwa clan will be held on October 17 from 10 am at Dongiewrim, Mawphlang.

The West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner (Supply) has informed that in view of the implementation of National Food Security Act, 2013 the State Government has decided to carry out one more round of claims and objections for finalizing the list of beneficiaries as per Socio Economic Caste Census, 2011, with effect from October 14 to 19. All concerned have to submit their particulars through their respective FPS dealers at the earliest.

The Madanryting Carrom Club is organising the 6th Madanryting Open Carom Championship from October 20-24 at Madanryting Community Hall. Last date for submission of entry fees is October 16.
