South Tura legislator files police complaint

SHILLONG: South Tura MLA John Leslee Sangma has filed a police complaint against unidentified miscreants for posing in aggressive attitude and attempting to disrupt a political meeting.
The incident happened on October 9 when an election meeting of Independent candidate for 9-Tura seat, Rupert M Sangma, was underway at Dobasipara, West Garo Hills. Around four or five unidentified miscreants appeared at the meeting venue and shouted “we want money” in an aggressive attitude and also attempted to disrupt the election meeting.
