Newborn’s body recovered

SHILLONG: Police recovered the body of a 5-day-old infant from Wah Umkliar near Parmaw Umkliar, Shillong, on October 11.
The body was found with the umbilical cord intact and covered with a blue dupatta on top of a rock.
Police have urged the parents and relatives of the newborn to claim the body lying at Civil Hospital, Shillong.
