Minority Commission member visits GH

TURA: Member of National Commission of Minorities, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Captain Praveen Davar was on a two-day visit to West Garo Hills recently to review the implementation of the Multi-sectoral Development Programme, a flagship programme for the welfare of minorities.
During his visit an in depth review of the implementation of the Multi Sectoral Development Programme was done in a meeting was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of DRDA, Tura in presence of the various heads of implementing agencies from the district.
A visit to project sites located at Hallidayganj, Phulbari under Selsella Block was also undertaken by Davar while on his return journey to Gauhati Airport.
