Murder accused absconding

SHILLONG: West Jaintia Hills Police is looking for three people who allegedly murdered one Kui Phawa at Pynthorsiej wah near Assam Meghalaya border in the district.
The wife of the victim filed a police complaint that on October 16 at around 11 pm, her husband Phawa was murdered by the three identified as Smell Dkhar, Kodrian Sumer and Rit Shylla. West Jaintia Hills SP R Muthu said the accused are absconding.
According to police Phawa and the accused were drinking together when the three killed him with a sharp weapon. Police are yet to ascertain the cause of the murder.
