3-year-old boy forced to drive pickup after his mom falls out
Taloa Foster, 33, was arrested on suspicion of drunk    en driving after police said she fell out of her pickup truck, forcing one of her 3-year-old twin sons to guide the truck along an Oklahoma highway until it crashed into a curb. No one was injured.
A 3-year-old boy had to take over driving a pickup truck Wednesday after his mother fell out on an Oklahoma highway.
The boy managed to guide the pickup about three blocks before crashing onto a curb, according to the Ada News. His twin brother also was in the truck. Neither of the boys were hurt.
Police said the toddler steered the truck across four lanes of traffic while standing on the seat to reach the steering wheel, according to the New York Daily News.
Taloa Foster, of Ada, Oklahoma, told a state trooper that one of her boys had gotten out of his car seat, and she was trying to keep him in the truck when she fell out, according to the Ada News.
The Ada News reported witnesses said Foster, 33, was walking on the road when the truck crashed onto the curb. She was not hurt.
Emergency personnel and bystanders comforted the boys while police gave Foster a sobriety test, the news outlet reported.
Police found an almost empty bottle of liquor on pickup’s floorboard.
KXII News 12 reported Foster admitted to taking two “15-second shots” of vodka before getting behind the wheel of the pickup.
Foster was arrested and charged with child endangerment after being suspected of drunken driving, the New York Daily News reported the Pontotoc County District Attorney’s office said.
She was released on bail, and the twins were released to the custody of their grandfather. (Agencies)
