Teachers’ body declares results of various competitions

SHILLONG: The Khasi Jaintia Deficit School Teachers’ Association has declared the results of the inter-zone (Art) painting and essay writing competitions organised by its Coral Jubilee Celebration Committee.
In group A (Class V & VI), Malanbok Marwein of H. Elias H/S School secured the first prize, Adip Deb of Laitumkhrah Presbyterian HIS School was second. In group B (class VII & VIII) Bankyntiew Syiemlieh Sanshnong U.P. School of Upper Shillong was adjudged first, Koyel Kalita of St. Mary’s H/S School was second. In group C (Class XI & XII) Amosly Majaw of Jaiaw Presbyterian H/S School was declared winner, Susiemana K Marak of Lady Keane Gir1s H/S School and Pynskhembok of M.P.H.S.S. (Mairang Zone) finished second.
In the inter-zone (essay writing),  painting competition in group A (Class VIII to IX) Larishisha Khongwar of John Bosco Girls H/S School was declared winner, Ribashisha Nongneng of St. Gabriel H/S School finished second. In group B (Class X-XII) Darisha Sun St. Pauls H/S School, Marbisu was declared winner, Maushumi Das of Laban Bengalee Boys’ HS School finished second.
