SHILLONG: Donevan Wahlang, Executive Member, in charge of Land, has informed that 13.5 kms of the road from Wahkaji to Mawthabah is still to be laid.
Wahlang was replying to a supplementary question posed by UDP MDC Donkupar Sumer.
Wahlang also added that the Council has no intention to hand over the construction work to the Ministry of Road Transport.
When KHNAM MDC Adelbert Nongrum asked Wahlang if the Council had handed over the rights of the land to other groups, he replied in the negative.
