SHILLONG: “There is no lion and now the tiger will win the Nongstoin by-election,” asserted MPCC working president Deborah Marak on Wednesday.
Reacting to a query on the party’s chances in the Nongstoin by-polls, she said the party has already started its preparations for the election.
When asked if internal feuds within the Congress will affect the party’s prospect, she denied the same saying there is no feud and the party as a whole will ensure the victory of the Congress candidate.
It may be mentioned that ticket contender Advisor Pariong has already pledged his support to party candidate Gabriel Wahlang for the election scheduled on November 21.
