SHILLONG: An organization called the Western Ri-Bhoi Dorbar & Social Welfare Organisation (WRBD&SWO) has demanded immediate appointment of a new BDO in Jirang Community and Rural Development (C&RD) Block which “wears a deserted look” since the arrest of GH Passah.
Jirang C&RD Block BDO Passah was arrested in the PJ Marbaniang murder case.
“The delay in appointment of a new BDO is causing undue problems to the people. We urge the Government to immediately appoint a new BDO,” WRBD&SWO secretary Sranly Wahlang said.
