Medical workshop
NEIGRIHMS in collaboration with CBHI, RoHFW, Government of India, Bhubaneswar, is organizing a workshop to promote the use of ICD-10 in tertiary care hospitals & medical colleges, on the November 18 at 11 am in the hospital premises.
Quami Ekta Week
Quami Ekta Week will be observed at the State level with the administration of National Integration Pledge on November 19 at 11 am in front of the Main Secretariat, Rilang Building.

Cultural programme
The Border Security Force, Meghalaya Frontier, is organizing another cultural programme on November 17 at Lady Keane College, Shillong, from 5:30 pm as part of its Golden Jubilee year. Various colourful cultural programmes have been lined up for the audience.
PDS rice
The office of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District, Shillong has informed that rice under TPDS has been released for the month of November 2015 and will be distributed through the respective fair price shops.
Discussions
India Foundation for the Arts (IFA), a national and independent not-for-profit grant-making organisation that supports practice, research and education in the arts, recently organized an evening of discussions over ‘chai’ at KJP Assembly Hall in Shillong.
Condolence
The Meghalaya Newspapers Hawker & Vendor Association (MNH&VA) condoled the death of one of the members of the Association, Rolian Pdahsiej, a newspaper vendor at Motphran. The Association forwarded a condolence message to her daughter Paisuk Pdahsiej and relatives.
Bank branch inauguration
A branch of the Bandhan Bank Ltd. will be launched in Police Bazaar on November 17. The branch will be inaugurated by RBI Regional Director (North East) S.S. Barik.
Road safety
Kakoli Dasguptadatta and Piyali Dey Purkayastha have extended their gratitude to friends and well wishers for organising a ‘Run for  Road Safety’ marathon on November 15 in memory of late Aniruddha Dutta and late Rahul Dey Purkayastha, who died on April 23 due to rash drunken driving by a driver. This initiative will help all like minded people in matters related to road safety awareness, they said.
Cleaning drive
A cleaning drive was conducted in Police Bazaar, Jail road, Polo and Keating Road on November 14 at the initiative of Sadar police station which was participated by all sections of people.
