SHILLONG: The district and sessions judge, Nongpoh has fixed December 4 for framing of charges regarding the case of late PJ Marbaniang, the officer in charge of Patharkhmah police outpost, who died under mysterious circumstances at his official quarter on January 25 this year.
Source said the Judge after considering arguments from all sides, found it fit to proceed ahead with the case,  and hence framing of charges has been fixed for December 4.
The court, however, is yet to make any order regarding the separate petition filed by the mother of Marbaniang for an independent probe into the death of her son as she was not happy with the conclusion arrived at by Special Investigation Team that her son committed suicide.
