Church organizes health camp

JOWAI: The Shillong Mizo Church (Presbyterian) organized a one-day health camp at Chyrmang village in West Jaintia Hills District on Saturday.
The health camp was initiated by partner missionaries of KJP Synods and Mizoram Synod including T. Boiliana, Lalminga Thianglai, L Fanai and Lallawkimi. The objective of the health camp was to provide free medical check-up and distribution of free medicines.
Doctors from Shillong including Dr. Keven Zodin, Dr. David, Dr. Peka and Dr. Rosiama extended their professional help in the free medical camp.
According to church elder and retired Professor, Dr. C Nunthara, last year the Shillong Mizo Church had conducted a similar medical camp at village which benefitted hundreds of villagers.
