Guru Nanak Jayanti
The Shillong Sikh community is organising a Guru Ka Langar (community feast) at Gurudwara Shillong near Raj Bhavan on Nov 25 from 12 noon on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti.
The Bara Bazar Gurudwara will bring out a religious procession on Nov 24 at 12:30 pm followed by Bhog Sri Akhand Path Sahebji and Gurbani Shabad Kirtan on Nov 25 from 10:30 am.

Seng Kynthei, Unitarian Union North East India, is observing ‘The International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women’ at Unitarian Church Campus, Madan Laban on Nov 25 from 12:30 pm by conducting an awareness programme on the subject.

Dorbar meet
The Jaiaw laitdom Dorbar has requested all house owners of the locality to attend a hearing on Nov 24 at 11 am at U Soso Tham Auditorium to opose the proposed increase in municipal tax by the Shillong Municipal Board.
Programme
The foundation stone of the ADR Centre of Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority will be laid by Uma Nath Singh, Chief Justice, High Court of Meghalaya on Nov 25 at 11 am at Mawdiangdiang. The multi-utility vehicle of the MSLSA will also be flagged off on the occasion.
