FireHouse to perform in Jowai

SHILLONG: With an aim to raise funds for the construction of an indoor sports complex, a Dorbar Shnong from Jowai is all set to host internationally acclaimed band FireHouse at Panaliar football ground in the town on December 12.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, the headman of Panaliar said that the organizers are hoping to make a profit of Rs 20 lakh from the event.
He also informed that apart from FireHouse two other  bands, one from Bangalore and another a local one, will also perform on the occasion.
The tickets have been priced at Rs. 2000, Rs. 1500 and Rs 700 respectively and are available at Shillong, Jowai and Khliehriat.
