NONGSTOIN: The people of Nongkhnum and the tourists visiting the area got an early Christmas gift in the form of a foot-bridge connecting Nongkhnum Island.
The foot-bridge was inaugurated by Chief Executive, National Fisheries Development Board K.N. Kumar in the presence of West Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner, S. Kharlyngdoh among others.
Kumar lauded the effort of the DC for completing the construction in quick time.
