SHILLONG: A mentally unstable person allegedly murdered a woman at Mawsain village in South West Hills on Saturday.
Headman of Mawsain village (SWKH), G. Mylliem lodged a complaint that on November 28 at around 3 pm, one Kerdiar Mylliem (39) murdered Twilina Mylliem (46).
Later, Police apprehended the accused and sent him to Mawkyrwat CHC for medical examination, where the attending medical officer declared the accused as mentally unstable.
He was then sent to MIMHANS, Shillong.
