SHILLONG: The death of police personnel PJ Marbaniang, who detained 32 trucks carrying coal in violation of NGT order in January this year, should be brought to the notice of NGT, said Supreme Court lawyer Ranjan Mukherjee.
Mukherjee said that he was also not aware of the incident as no one informed him about the matter.
Asked whether the matter should be brought to the notice of NGT since Marbaniang died following the detention of coal laden  trucks which violated the NGT order, Mukherjee said that the  matter can be brought before NGT.
