St Anthony’s College past pupils’ meet held

SHILLONG: Around 160 past pupils of St Anthony’s College, attended the sixth alumni meet organised by St Anthony’s College Shillong Alumni Association (SACPAA) on Saturday, December 5.
Those who attended the three-hour long programme included members of the alumni of the college, from  the 1950s to the  batches of recent years.
Preceded by the registration, the meet began with an hour-long business session and election of the new office bearers, besides others.
Soon after the business session, elections were also held to elect the members of the new executive body.
In the elections that were held (Retd) Brigadier William Sturgeon was re-elected for another three year term as President of the Association.
The other members included R. N Bhuyan as the Vice President, Prof Kesterlee Syiemiong as General Secretary, Prof Rose Mary Ishohary as the Joint  Secretary, Kiron Joshi as the Treasurer, Fr Saji Stephen P, SDB as  Delegate along with 8 other executive members.
Variety of programmes was also held which included song, dance and skit. The day concluded with a dinner.
