SHILLONG: The body of one Pramod Yadav (30), a resident of Lucknow, UP, was found floating at Umiam Lake on Thursday afternoon.
Police said necessary formalities were observed and the cadaver was sent to Nongpoh Civil Hospital for post mortem, after which the body was handed over to relatives.
Police suspected that it was a case of suicide and added that they were investigating the matter.
