Airtel launches network transformation programme

Shillong: Bharti Airtel Limited (Airtel) recently announced that it has commenced the implementation of its network transformation program “Project Leap” in North East.
Under “Project Leap”, Airtel has doubled its network infrastructure investments in the state of Arunachal Pradesh (AP)  in the current year.
Airtel on Saturday also launched its 2G/3G services in over 100 villages across Palin, Seppa and Sagalee region.
With a national investment of Rs. 60,000 crores over the next three years, Airtel’s “Project Leap” is a strategic company initiative aimed at perceptibly improving its network quality and delivering the best customer experience.
Saurabh Goel, CEO, North East, Bharti Airtel said, “Customers are at the very core of everything we do and delivering a compelling experience to them is our foremost priority.”
“In line with our long term growth strategy for NE- we see “Project Leap”  as a strategic initiative and we will be investing heavily in upgrading our network and providing seamless customer experience across various technologies.” he said.
