Missing man’s body recovered from Mumbai hospital

SHILLONG: The  body of  Mawramsong Kharhujon  who went missing  from Mumbai airport recently was identified on Saturday from Cooper Hosspital, Mumbai.
Police said that the body had been  lying at the Cooper Hospital since  December 6 and it was identified on Saturday by the relatives.
Police said as per the version of Mumbai police, Mawramsong Kharhujon  was hit by a train in the railway line.
However, the relatives and Khasi residents from Mumbai informed that he was hit on his head by a blunt object and the wound was not caused by any speeding train as the head was intact and not smashed
Shillong police has sought all the details of the case from Mumbai police.
He had gone missing from Mumbai airport terminal while on his way back home
Kharhujon went missing after he went to the washroom of the airport, according to his sister Pynshisha Kharhujon, who went to Mumbai to escort him back to Shillong.
