U18 I-League North East Zone Qualifiers
Shillong: Shillong Lajong FC defeated Rangdajied United FC 5 – 0 in the U-18 I-League North East Zone Qualifiers held at the J N Stadium in the city on Monday.
In Monday’s U-18 I-League encounter, Damiki Khongstia (17′), Sheen Stevenson Sohktung (40′, 50′), and Joe (41′ and 81′) found the net for the Reds and gave their team a 5-0 win against angdajied United FC.
Royal Wahingdoh have already advanced to the Final Round of the U-18 I-League.
Meanwhile, Shillong Lajong FC who are in the second place with 15 points after Monday’s win, will have to wait for the Result from the last match between SAI Guwahati and Guwahati FC.
SAI need a straight win in order to qualify for the final round from the North East Zone as they are in the third place with 13 points from 7 games.
