SHILLONG: A senior resident of Demseiniong-Laitumkhrah has alleged that the Deputy Headman, A. Blah, has misused his post as Deputy Headman by allegedly not convening a Dorbar since 2008.
Mickey Lyngdoh, a senior resident alleged that the illiterate residents of the locality as well as senior residents are surprised that the Dorbar has not been convened since October 2008 after Blah has been selected as headman of Demseiniong.
Lyngdoh also claimed that the public tap installed by him during 1991/92 was removed without prior information.
In this connection he has called for the public tap to be re-installed within 20 days with effect from November 16, but Blah failed to respond.
