Wild elephants destroy areca nut trees in EJH

JOWAI: Around 10 wild elephants destroyed thousands of areca nut trees in Borsora village under Narpuh Elaka in East Jaintia Hills.  A resident, Tariang Massar informed that last week the wild elephants from Narpuh Reserve Forest came to Borsora and uprooted as many as ten thousand areca nut trees.
