Two labourers rescued

SHILLONG: West Garo Hills police have rescued two labourers, who were abducted from Asanang tri-junction under Rongram in West Garo Hills.
Unknown armed miscreants abducted two labourers — Biswajit Pal and Dhaniram Tati  — on Sunday night.
Later, acting on inputs, police conducted operations at Rengsanggre (WGH) and rescued the duo.
However, the abductors managed to escape.
Police recovered one 7.65mm pistol with one magazine and three rounds of live ammunition.
