Mizo Youth Cong hails Lallianzuala’s goals

Aizawl: Mizoram Pradesh Youth Congress Committee (MPYCC) Monday hailed Lallianzuala Chhangte (18), who scored two goals in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Suzuki Cup at Trivandrum Stadium in Kerala in the quarter finals last night.
A press statement issued by the MPYCC said India beat Nepal by 4-1 to reach the semi-finals in the Cup. The statement praised the young football player from south Mizoram’s Lunglei for making Mizoram proud.
The statement also lauded the Congress government led by Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla and sports minister Zodintluanga for creating better sports infrastructure in the state resulting in Mizo sports persons wining laurels. (PTI)
