Assamese LP School gets facelift

SHILLONG: Assamese LP School Laban was declared a ‘Happy School’ under Teach project of RILM thanks to the intuitive of Inner Wheel Club.
In a statement issued here, the Club said that four toilets for girls and boys were constructed, besides sanctioning of school furniture including new desk and chairs and study materials, sports equipment among others.
Other initiatives were to provide a well equipped library and craft room, new flooring and painting of the school building. The project was inaugurated by the club’s district chairperson Sudha Mundra.
