The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hill has informed that all District Offices, Magisterial Courts and Educational Institutions in East Jaintia Hills District will remain closed on January 11 on account of Nul Ding Kut festival (Festival of Renewal of life) at Saipung Village.
Natl Voters Day
As part of the National Voters Day Celebration, 2016, the office of the Deputy Commissioner (Election), West Jaintia Hills will organise a bike and cycle rally which will start at Thomas Jones Synod College, Jowai from 8:00 AM on January 22. Participants can submit their names and details to EAC, Election, B.J. Kharshandi.
