Centre to send back VAB shortly

NEW DELHI: The Centre will soon clear KHAD (Village Administration) Bill, 2015 which was referred to it by the State Governor V. Shanmuganathan.
This assurance was given to Shillong MP Vincent Pala by Union Minister of state for Home Kiren Rijijju here on Friday.
The state government has already urged the Governor to request the Centre to speed up the process of examining the Bill.
Pala also met top officials of the Union Home Ministry for early clearance of the Bill.
