SHILLONG: The Chief Executive Member P N Syiem has ruled out reshuffling the present Executive Committee (EC) of KHADC even as he added that the change of Executive Members is his prerogative.
Syiem said that at present, there is no plan to unseat any of the Executive Members from the Congress-led People’s Democratic Forum (PDF).
He also added that it was up to him to take a decision if such a situation arises.
Syiem, however, added that the MDCs supporting PDF have the right to be Executive Members.
He did not clarify whether the MDCs from KHNAM, UDP, HSPDP and MDC Latiplang Kharkongor will be accommodated in the EC.
The KHADC chief also said that the support extended by other parties is as per the interest of the indigenous people of the State.
