2 youth open fire at man

Jammu: Two motorcycle-borne youth on Monday allegedly opened fire at a man while he was going in a car in Tali Morh area in the city. Jasbir Singh, who was driving his car, was attacked by the youth who fired two rounds towards Singh, which however missed the target and hit the car. “The two accused have been identified. They fired two rounds on Jasbir Singh at the Tali Morh area in New Plot-Janipur belt today afternoon,” a police officer said. He said that Singh, who escaped unhurt, have identified the two youth and said that an old rivalry between the two sides resulted today’s shootout. A case has been registered and efforts are on to arrest the accused, the officer said. (PTI)
