KSU plans to meet CM on entry/exit pts

SHILLONG: The Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) is planning to Chief Minister Mukul Sangma to discuss setting up of entry/exit points  to combat and regulate influx into the state.
Indicating this here on Tuesday, KSU president Daniel Khyriem  said that they would   meet the  Chief Minister this month or next month .
It may be mentioned that the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) has already given its clearance to the setting up of entry/exit points in the Khasi Hills. According to Khyriem,   setting up of the entry and exit points    should not take much time and now revenue department on Tuesday morning.
Both the vehicles were on their way to Guwahati when the accident took place.
The two injured were initially taken to Bhoirymbong CHC and subsequently shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
In a similar accident, an occupant of a car (ML04B – 58921) sitting in the front seat sustained injuries when the vehicle hit a truck (ML04C – 1189) from behind. The incident happened at Wapung under Khliehriat Block, East Jaintia Hills on January 11.
