Lapang inaugurates bridge in Ri Bhoi

SHILLONG: Chief Advisor to the State government, D.D. Lapang, recently inaugurated Markang Bridge at Markang, a village near the Meghalaya-Assam border, which was constructed at a cost of Rs.5 lakh funded by the Raid Marmain.
In his speech, Lapang assured that he will seek cooperation from Assam to bring in development in the region and will push the State PWD and NEC for better inter- state communication.
On the same day, Lapang also inaugurated the office of the executive committee of Dorbar Shnong Khulia.
