Police arrest vehicle lifter

SHILLONG: Police has seized one person for  stealing a bike and has also issued a look out notice against  another accomplice who is still at large. SP Vivek Syiem said that a motor bike pulsar 180 (ML05-L-3303) was stolen from  Balaji Enterprise, Garikhana, Shillong  on January 10. The bike belonged to  Mahipal Singh of Lumdiengjri, Shillong    On a tip off Lumdiengjri Police recovered the stolen Bike from a repairing garage at Polo, Shillong on Tuesday and one Vicky Lama was immediately arrested by the police for his involvement. His accomplice Sandy Nongseij, resident of Mahari Petrol Pump, Jaiaw Shillong is absconding. Anyone having information on the whereabouts of Sandy Nongseij may inform Officer In-charge, Lumdiengjri Police Station on Mobile No. 9863061803 or landline No. 0364-2548151.
