Tributes paid to Swami Vivekananda

SHILLONG: Admirers of Swami Vivekananda in  Shillong came together to observe the 153rd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda / National Youth Day on Tuesday at the site of Laban Batti Bazar where Swami had stayed during his visit to Shillong in April 1901.
Secretary Shillong Ramakrishna Mission, President and Secretary of CPC,  members of Gitali organisation, former Headman of Laban,  members of Sarada Mahila Samiti  and many prominent personalities from Shillong have graced the occasion. Youth of Shillong also participated in the morning programme.
