SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Indigenous Youth Federation (MIYF) has lauded the decision of the State Cabinet to amend the Meghalaya Service (Conduct) Rules. In a statement issued here on Friday, the MIYF said that it is for the first time that the Congress-led Government has taken a pro-people step. The decision to debar government employees from holding posts in traditional institutions will improve the work culture in government offices.
