Oil and Gas Conservation Fortnight observed

SHILLONG: Along with the rest of the country, the Oil Industry in collaboration with the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, the State Government and the Petroleum Conservation Research Association observed the Oil and Gas Conservation Fortnight 2016 here on Saturday.
Principal Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, P.W.Ingty inaugurated the function as Chief Guest in the presence of Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, W. Khyllep among others. A quiz competition was also organised as part of the event.
The Oil and Gas Conservation Fortnight is organised every year during the period 16th to 31st January all over the country under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
