Appointment to the post of LDA cum typist: Pressure groups call for fresh advertisement

SHILLONG: The East Jaintia Hills units of the Jaintia Youth Federation (JYF) and HYC have demanded the district administration to roll out fresh advertisement for appointment to the posts of LDA cum typists.
JYF secretary, John Pala said that while over 53 candidates passed the written test for as many posts, only one candidate made the cut in the typing test. The organizations maintained that while the lone candidate has the right to appointment, the district administration should make fresh advertisement to fill the remaining posts.
