SHILLONG: The Hynniewtrep Youth’ Council (HYC) North Khasi Hills District has expressed shock over allegations of three suspended members of the organization, Amberlight Marsharing, Dapkupar Nongrum and Rephingshon Lyngdoh, who claimed that the organizing secretary of the organization, Nickson Dohling did not consult the president or general secretary before doing away with their membership.
The supporters of Dohling claimed that the sacked members repeatedly acted against the interest of the organization leading to their suspension.
They also claimed that one-third of the HYC’s NKHD members supported their suspension.
It may be mentioned that eight members of the organization resigned following the suspension of the trio.
