ICAR training on ‘agricultural communication in digital environment’

SHILLONG: A training programme on “Agricultural Communication in Digital   Environment”   began   at ICAR RC NEH, Umiam from January 18 in view   of   growing    demand    for   food   and   efforts   to   enhance    profitability     from   agriculture.
The eight-day Model Training Course (MTC) on “Agricultural Communication   in Digital Environment”   is sponsored by the Directorate   of Extension, Ministry   of Agriculture, Govt.   of India and being   organized   by ICAR- Directorate   of Knowledge   Management    in Agriculture, (DKMA) New Delhi in collaboration   with ICAR RC NEH, Umiam.
The chief guest for the was PD, DKMA, New Delhi, Rameshwar Singh and the special guest was State Informatics Officer, NIC (National Informatics Centre) Meghalaya, Timoty Dkhar.
