SHILLONG: Mrs Scotland of the East 2015 “gorgeous mom” contest was bagged by Icydora lakhon from Khimusniang Jowai, followed by second runner up Iawanbakilamon Syiem from Nongmynsong and third runner up Ratna Kagda from Jailroad.
Subtitle winners were Eva Khyriem, Maria Goretti Marshiangbai, Alice Mary Kharbani, Heiporkiru Suchiang, Diana Ross Marak Sangma, and Eva Sangma.
The event was held on January 16, organized by Kyntu Yei Sap Society and ABK travel solution at U Soso Tham Auditorium.
It was organized with the intention to provide an opportunity to mothers to walk the ramp and as a way to empower them as well.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Social Welfare Minister, Debora Marak and the judges were R Wahlang, P Chullet, M Nongbet and B Jyrwa.
