Sawkmie asks DC to call meeting with butchers’ body

SHILLONG: Following the shut down called by the Khasi Jaintia Butcher’s Association from January 18 to February 3,  P.T. Sawkmie MDC Mawlai Constituency has urged the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills, PS Dkhar to look into the grievances of the Association and convene a meeting with them. Sawkmie stated that it has caused inconvenience to the people employed in the profession.
