Illicit liquor seized

SHILLONG: In its continued drive against illicit liquor, the Excise Staff of East Khasi Hills District conducted raids in various restaurants and stalls in the town and as well as its outskirts where during the month of November last year, 32 cases with a seizure of 101.980 litres of i/d liquor and 47.710 litres IMFL were detected and taken hold of. In this connection, twenty six persons were arrested under the Excise Act.
