Capt. Sangma’s contribution fondly remembered in Bangladesh

SHILLONG: The Executive Chairman, Board of Investment, Bangladesh recollected the support extended by Capt. William Sangma, the then Chief Minister of Meghalaya, in 1971 for setting up of the first “Jai Bangla office” during the liberation movement.
Speaking at the Bangladesh Investment & Policy Summit 2016 on Sunday, the Executive Chairman, Board of Investment, Bangladesh in his address fondly remembered the support extended by Capt. Sangma. He also reiterated that there exists ‘complementarities’ for both sides and what is needed is to maximize and harness this potential.
