Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh government is preparing a list of documents for submission to Supreme Court following the directive to it to return copies of all official files seized from the offices of former chief minister Nabam Tuki, his ministers and parliamentary secretaries after imposition of President’s rule in the state.
A list of documents needed by the petitioners in the case is also being prepared, Chief Secretary Ramesh Negi said.
The SC order was received by the government on Tuesday morning and accordingly the lists of the files were being prepared.
He said since all the files are routine ones which have nothing to do with Supreme Court, the former chief minister, ministers and the parliamentary secretaries have been requested to take the relevant documents needed for filing replies in the court.
The apex court had on Monday directed the chief secretary and the administrator of the state to supply certain documents, personal documents and personal diaries of Tuki and his ministers including parliamentary secretaries on their request. (PTI)
