SHILLONG: On January 25, an unknown male body assumed to be around 49-50 years old at the time of death was fished out from Ward’s Lake at around 9 AM.
The body was sent for post mortem examination after which it was kept at the Civil Hospital morgue for identification.
The deceased had a fair complexion and had worn black stripe sweater, T-shirt and black trouser at the time of death.
