Cabinet nod to appointment of lecturers

SHILLONG: The State Cabinet on Friday approved appointment of lecturers against vacant posts in different government colleges in the State.
Deputy Chief Minister in charge of Education, R.C. Laloo, informed that appointment of lecturers in different government colleges has been approved against the vacancy posts under regulation 3F.
He informed that there are around 22 vacant posts in Tura Govt. College, Kiang Nangbah Govt. College, Williamnagar Govt. College and Captain Williamson Sangma Memorial College.
“Now we are going to issue appointment letters to the candidates according to merit,” Laloo added.
