SHILLONG: Police have arrested a person for allegedly attempting to rape a fourteen year old girl in East Jaintia Hills.
The incident took place on February 7 when one Watbot Dkhar (31) of Dkhiah village (EJH) attempted to rape a 14-yr-old girl. When she raised an alarm, the accused fled away. However on February 9, police arrested the accused.
