Narrow escape for Mukul

Shillong: Chief Minister Mukul Sangma had a close shave on Thursday when the vehicle (ML-01-0001) he was travelling was hit by a tourist taxi (ML-04A-3374) from behind at 3rd Mile Upper Shillong.
The Chief Minister was on his way to helipad when the incident took place. No one was injured in the incident. The accident, which had happened at around 1.30pm, caused partial damage to the Chief Minister’s vehicle.
When contacted, police said that the driver of the tourist taxi was detained and the vehicle has been seized for necessary action.
Sangma, later, left for Delhi to attend a meeting scheduled for Friday.
